Auto parts warehouse (buying parts)

so i was searching for parts online (mostling looking at stock for my local stores)

and i ran accross autopartswarehouse.com. I was looking for plugs, wires, cap rotor that sort of thing.

well i ordered a $135 worth of stuff most of which was the plug wire set ($69) with loom attachements. (as virtually all of mine are busted off)

i get the parts in the mail yesterday.. open the box and what do i find!

a wire set with a toyota stickers on it just as if i bought them from the dealer.

i was floored! (ill take a snap i pic tonight)

I've been buying lots of parts for my project online. There is one thing you need to watch for and that's the return policy. Most places are very good about accepting returns and issuing a refund. But I ran across one (drivewire.com) that will stick you with a 30% restocking fee. Had I seen that before the order went thru, I would have gone elsewhere.

I've had very good luck with partsamerica.com and rockauto.com, but they only carry the more common stuff.

Looks like a good site.... I also found this one pretty decent, going to order Rear Bumper corner.

This is a pretty good site. Always gives me a great deal every time I order parts from them.

Is that a deal? I thought that was the approximate dealer price

That site has some good prices. Free shipping for stuff as well. But make sure you cross check your prices because I have seen a couple places beat some of their stuff.

i buy tons of stuff from there, for all our vehicles
my yota, my xterra, and the wife's corolla
their prices are great, shippnig is usually free, and very fast, and i dealt with customer service of rhte forst time today and they were great(i ordered the wrong part, lol) very patient and helpful
gave me no grief about returning it and ordering a new one, if the part im looking for can be bought there then that usually where i buy from

unless its huge stuff in which case i go to the junkyard

Good to hear folks have had good luck with them. I find it odd that there are dozens of sites with exactly the same stuff they have, exact same inventory even. They seem to be all different front ends for the same back end store. Beware of 'handling' charges some try to sneak in in addition to the shipping. Was going to order a couple little things from a 'clone' site, about $8 of parts + 7 shipping, but the total was $40+ due to a huge handling charge they added in.

Putting the same stuff in my cart here though the initial cost were higher but no sneaky charges added.
