Anyone heard of Viper winches?
Has anyone heard anything, good or bad, about Viper winches? I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive, but dependable, winch for my 4runner. Also, it's going to be going in an ARB bumper, so I'm also worried about issues with mounting. The only thing I've really seen that works is Warn winches. Any suggestions are appreciated

Probably another rebranded MileMarker (like the Smittybuilt) or worse.
You don't necessarily need to pay for the Warn name IMHO, but stick with one of the well-known brands like T-Maxx or Superwinch.

Don't pay for the T-Maxx name. Save yourself $200 and buy the re-badged Summit Racing winch.

I was sold on the Smittybilt XRC8 for $299. I ended up buying a Warn M8000 last month for $486 with a free wireless winch remote (worth $120).
