any negative experience with firestone lifetime alignment?

Just rebuilt the front suspension on my 87 runner. Ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, steering dampner, shocks, cv's and ball joint spacers. It was bad before all that stuff. I found a relevent thread from 07, didn't know if any thing has changed.
I've heard of places lying to get your business, they probably won't try that with me but..... I don't like firestone at all, theyre customers of mine and I deal with them on a daily basis and most of them are down right rotten IMO.

I can't find more information on it though. It seems like and I hope that If I pay the 150 for lifetime alignments, then if I go out curb jumping, then they align it again.

Thoughts?

I just got the lifetime alignment on my 88 excab a few weeks ago. No problems at all. I told them I was going to do BJ spacers later and they said no problem.

I went to the one on Central between Washinton and San Mateo.

I wish there were shops around here that offered a deal like this!

Have it for my 87. Gonna get it for my 2000 as well. No problems. I have taken it a couple times (BJ spacers, new bigger tires) and have had zero problems. Not bad for $150

I thought they only did it on a time basis as in every few months or so, is that not true.

I've heard of people having that restriction put on them so ask before you buy. The shop I have a lifetime with knows I wheel, knows what I have is modified and has said that as long as I don't abuse it I can get them done as needed (they had a guy changing out suspension parts experimentally and getting it aligned every couple of weeks that they asked to be a little more reasonable). I've had 2 done on the truck so far in less than a year because of work I've done to it, no hassles.

I'm sure each shop varies, There's a Firestone that's close to my house, but are always very busy. I like to wait for my alignment, so I like a shop that will get me in right away. I have never had a problem getting an alignment even with a 3" ICON lift. I feel a little better knowing that the tech also drives a lifted truck. The manager of the shop told me that the alignments are unlimited, so I can get one every week if I wanted to. Seems like a WIN - WIN situation.

I've purchased the lifetime alignment on everything Ive had including a fullsized 99 Dodge and my 87 yota xtracab 4x4. Never had a question about it. It's always been a good deal for me.
