Cadmen, We live way up in the Interior of Alaska. . . . Wildlife is abundant. So, yeah, there are occasional reports of people getting hurt. Its part of living on the edge of civilization. We actually took these pictures in Canada. . . between Haines (AK) and Haines Jct. (Yukon; Canada). This was back in '05, I remember sitting on the side of the road watching these bears for over an hour before that motorhome drove up behind us (see the earlier pic) and then the bears ambled off over the hill. Yeah it was way cool! here are some more:
