Zuk mod/rear susp. question

So I'm planning on doing the Zuk coil mod to fix my rear sag, but today when I was measuring I realized something I had not before. I have blocks in the back underneath the leaf packs, I'm guessing for the 4" pro-comp lift. Either way, my leafs are still sagged all the way to the overload springs. I measured 8" between the frame and top leaf, and 1.75" between the bumpstop and rubber snubber.

I emailed Zuk about this, but I wanted to get some opinions from YT as well. Should I remove the blocks and go with a 14" coil with spacers, or leave them in and go with a different coil/spacer setup? I imagine if I removed the blocks as it is, I would be totally up against my bumpstop.

Blocks in or out will not change the bumpstop distance. Removing them will lower the back end of the truck, though. Might get some of that lost height back with the helper coils, depending on how stiff they are.

Here is the only picture I have to show the sag of a side angle.

I really just want it leveled. As for the stiffness, I was going to go with something like 100 or 150lbs/in. The only weight I carry regularly in the back in my full size spare. I would consider new leafs but zuk mod is more in the budget.

Maybe this will help. My distance from frame to leaf before was 8 3/4" I installed 14 inch, 125 lb rate springs and now that distance is 11 1/2 inches.

See if you can jack up the back end to 11 1/2 inches frame to leaf and then see how that would compare with or without the blocks in. If its got a huge rake, lower the jack 4 inches and see if its level.

Wouldnt the zuk mod just be a band-aid so to say? Seems like you need new spring reguardless of what you do. Why not save up and get what you need the first time around? I am not trying to be a jerk just understand how the mod would be better than new springs.

Is getting new leaf springs and doing the ZUK 'rear sag' mod overkill? I had read in one of those ZUK mod threads that someone was going to do exactly that.
