yeah - I'm a noob
I'm new to these boards and just wanted to start things off right.
I have a 97 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4.
It's a daily driver for my wife, and my weekend hobby.
And yes, I'm one of those big-city drivers with an SUV that rarely sees the mud pits.
I have a strong passion for cars. Actually, between my wife and I, we've had about 9 cars in 8 years - all of which I never kept OEM. I've been more involved with the Sport compact scene, but with all the retards out there giving it a bad name, I'm new to the Sport Ute scene. Having said that, forgive me in advance if I ask stupid questions - I'll use the search engines as much as I can.

Well how long are you going to keep it stock??
x2 on the promise to search. If you do search, don't find what you're looking for, and get told there's already a thread about it - don't worry about it.

8ac,
welcome to yotatech!
thanks for recognizing the search feature. you're one step ahead of most of the noobs
second, thread titles: keep them specific to the topic for tech-related posts. if not, we will just delete them. this is to ensure that if your post comes up, it will be crystal clear what your post is about w/o opening it. thus, no posts like "i need help!" or "i have a problem!!!!".
third: we have a great tech section with writeups. browse around in the tech section. fortunately for you, a good number of those writeups are for 3rd gen 4runners. also, check out my website 4runners.org. many of my writeups are in the tech section too
