im going to purchase an 85 runner with a solid axle, but it has no shocks on it... i have an 86 now and was wondering if i could use the shocks off of it to get the truck home???

 

You can drive it with out shocks, it will probably just be a bit bouncy on the road.

 

You cant use the IFS shocks, but as Myota said you can drive it home, keepit under 100.

 

yeah, i had the rear shocks off of my truck for a day, got new ones and was trying to beat the rain putting them on...didnt finish it... that was one bouncy ride home hah! i dont think ill have any trouble keeping it under 100, or under 60 for that matter haha!
