Where to start...
Okay, I've had my '92 5spd runner for about 2 months now and I know it's mechanically sound. I've saved about $1200 so far and I wanna start the mods. I need a new rear bumper, suffered a hit and run about 2 weeks ago, but that caan wait if it needs to. Where do some of you guys suggest I start? I was thinking tires, stock rims and nothing too big, I'd do a body lift, but I'd rather they fit stock untill I can afford a real lift. Anything else you guys suggest would be helpful.

Some folks start with the armor, most with the drivetrain. Start wherever you want!
My truck came with problems, its old, its got miles, its been hit. So I just been tinkering on whatever goes next =) with mods in the downtime. LOL
Off-roading it like its a dedicated wheeler and not my daily driver doesnt seem to be helping the wallet! LMAO!

If I were to start all over again with a stock truck, I'd begin with front and rear ARB lockers, then lift the truck and replace bumpers accordingly. Depending on your terrain, sliders would come before bumpers IMO.
Level out the rear end, put dual lockers in it and get some aggressive tires and wheel it to see what else you might want.

It all depends what ur looking for, if you want looks, performance, handling, or a little bit of everything.
yea i found with to be the problem with me and my acura, i drove it like a race car for long *on the street plus also on the track* now i'm installing a new stronger and more powerful engine but i'm going to take it easy on her now, except when i'm on my track

I bought a set of 32 inch mud terrains and some lights, bumpers and sliders are next and lockers to follow. Probably charge a small lift on the credit card sometime soon just to speed things along.

Yeah it is really, really flat. The main reason for bumpers are winch/light mounts and my rear bumper is KIA, someone hit me and took off so I'd rather put something nice on there and have a front end to match it.
