My brother broke down in Arkansas, towed his 4Runner to me, and moved to Texas. He just sent me the title so I guess I have a 4Runner! Turns out a Ujoint had snapped on him so I got that replaced. Now I’m having an issue with throttle response.
its a 93 4Runner with the 3.0 and a manual trans. When taking off in 1st I have to basically floor it to get any rpm’s. Once’s it’s going it seems ok, if a little under powered. It looks like something is missing just to the right of the oil cap above the hose. I don’t know how to search for this part because I have no idea what it’s called. Looks as though it’s missing a cap which could cause a vacuum issue? I appreciate any help you guys could provide.
