Question What is this 3.0 TB Screw?

It is the long screw that runs perpendicular to and underneath the dash-pot. It comes out of the bottom of the throttle body and points toward the front of the truck. It's got a flat head slot and is a pain to get to. I used to think it was the idle adjust screw (so I messed with it), but now I know better thanks to searching Yota-Tech. Sorry I don't have pics to help.

Thanks, Elton. I actually found that out already, so now I'm trying to figure out what the heck I was adusting. The one I'm talking about is not quite visible in your pic, as it is down low and hidden behind the metal line with smallest red hose connector. P.S. Did you sand off the coating on those lines? Mine are black.

I put up a picture!

This is my first picture posted to the web, and I have to say it was a challenge. I won't get into the different obstacles I faced, but I have to say that my skills and my computer aren't exactly up to date. Anyway, what is this thing?

It looks like that is the screw that holds the dashpot on. However, I have never seen one with with such a long shaft.

It doesn't actually touch the dashpot, and if you turn it, the idle will change. Yes, it is rather phallic. Sorry about that.

That long screw your pointing at with the screwdriver holds the dashpot on and is a linkage stop.

The idle screw is in the picture of the first reply.

The TB set screw is Hortence picture just below the springs with the locknut on it, Dont touch, THat ones a no no.

Jackknife and VooDoo - You are right, totally right. Now I feel like a dope. Well, live and learn, that's what Yotatech is for, right?
Now that my dashpot is on nice and tight, the truck runs better. Will wonders never cease?

P.S. This thread can die now and go where those old threads go. Farewell, good thread, we will remember thee fondly, and then totally forget you forever.
