Water in Fuel?

Started up my truck to fiddle under the hood a little and let the motor come up to running temperature. After I was done I noticed a big puddle of water under my exhaust pipe. Im running 91 octane fuel without ethenal. Is the water coming out my exhaust normal? Condensation? A product of combustion? Ive noticed the same thing happening with the old motor too. Should I start buying fuel somewhere else?

Some is normal define a big puddle??

If it was in the fuel your engine most likely be running rather poor.

Are you running higher compression then stock??

Why 91 octane??

Most likely it clears up after you run for a little bit and that is normal.

According to Chiltons manual Im running 9.3:1? Its an motor out of an 87. I get better fuel mileage with 91 octane so I run it (only the best for my baby. )

Yeah, it clears up after a while. It doesnt leave a puddle bug enough to sail a toy boat or anything but makes the street wet for an area about the size of a basketball

Ive had trucks drip water from the exhaust before but not like this. Thanks
