Im wondering, Cause everyone that looks at it seems to think I only need 2 snyoids, Instead of 4 Ive seen some of the older winches Wired like this. What Im wondering is Its hooked Directly up to my battery Like it should be but not by one of those Thick cables to the battery. But the only ground thick black cable.. is hooked to the winch and not grounded to the frame .. should it be or is the winch acting as a ground cause its attached to the custom bumper? oh does anyone know of a place to get a clutch release lever? I was missing mine when I bought. so cant Free spool. and was told to seal it or it would get ruined, So it Put some clear slicone to stop the rain getting in.

 

If you don't have the thick red positive cable connected to your battery (+), it's not hooked up correctly.

The negative cable can be hooked to battery (-) or chassis ground. Same/same.

Your post is a little difficult to understand, maybe you can draw a picture?

Not familiar with the solenoid pack you have, and cannot comment on that.
