want to lift my pickup!

Ok, yeah i know there are a ton of post on here about lifting a IFS pickup but I want your ideas! I have the T- Bars cranked right now and hate the way it rides! Also have 2 inch blocks in the rear and want thoes out ASAP. My leaf springs are almost flate! So what would you guys do to get 3-4 inches of lift? I dont want to put a IFS lift on it because one day I might do a SAS. So what should I do? New springs with add a leaf and BJ's and new shocks? If so what brand weres the best place to get them! Any info would be cool.

Bj spacers, rear aal's or shackle lift, new shocks and a small body lift.

you could put bj spacers and crank the front a lil. that might get you 3" of lift in the front

Honestly, just pick up a rough country, procomp, whatever (they're all pretty much the same thing with minor differences) 4" IFS lift and be done with it. That should give you everything you'll need, and they're pretty cheap. You can pick up a complete kit brand new for about $600, or you can pick up a used one from someone that's just done a SAS usually for $300 to $450 and usually includes all your hubs, front diff, and all the other stuff that gets cut out.

front or rear? i think one would be pretty irrelevant and not too noticeable but what do i know? you could always fab it to accommodate. or just trim and not body lift? whats your goal? looks? fit tires? etc

the only way you 2 inches out of the toytec kit is if you crank the t-bars .5". i have ball joint spacers with the t-bars cranked around an inch. i also have a 3" body lift. i like this set up alot but it does ride a lil rough but most of it is my swampers. lol

goal here it to run 33's and for a bit of change! Had my 4runner was lifted 4 inches and i loved it. Also hate the way my truck rides, just looking for a little nice ride. The trail gear bumper is a rear bumper.

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
Then 4Crawler 1 1/2" BJ spacer and run 33/10.50's... You don't even have to lift it to run that tire.

You/ your truck will NOT be happy with running 4, foot wide shoes everywhere you go... And we all know how high gears are on everybody's list

Do not "bracket lift" or "Lower-to-lift" your truck... Those things are cheap and ineffective... And they DO NOT add strength either...

Remember, if you body lift you can lift the drivetrain as well, so it's a 2 fold effect... See Budbuilt.

The closer you stay to factory IFS the MUCH better off you'll be...

I'd vote BJ spacers in front and ZUK/shackles in the back. I got about 4-5" of lift in the rear on my runner with the ZUK and stock leafs (that were flat with 4" blocks before see my sig for the pics). ZUK cost me $70 with shipping/tax for springs, and a day of my time.

I've got bfg a/t 33x10.5 with aal + 2" shackles in the back and 2" bjs and ultra low profile bumpstops for added compression up front. I'm happy with this because the tires rub only slightly under extreme circumstances (wheel fully cranked suspension fully compressed) and my center of gravity remains fairly low. Ive had 32x11.5 and the extra inch of width caused much obnoxious rubbing up front, the mileage was poorer and they liked to pull me around on-road, all worse than a taller tire that is only an inch thinner. my 2c

*also I have a 4runner and with the top removed the aal can make the ride a little stiff and bouncy in the back but for < 40 shipped eh...
