vortec 4.3 v6 engine swap
i have a 91 toyota extra cab pickup. My 3.0 v6 finally went at 270,000. Im looking to do a swap and put in a 4.3 vortec v6 motor in it. Im not sure exactly what i need as far as mods go (wiring harness, headers, emissions ect) or what year motor and transmission i should be looking for. i want the efi not the tbi. anything that anyone knows about this swap could help. even a list of parts or a place i could look at. thanks

I'm not an engine swap guy but I do know this particular swap has been discussed at great lengths on here.
I would suggest doing a search on this particular swap and see what you find.

Howell engine development inc. For wiring harness for ant thing before 1994,
advance adapters will have adapters for most transmission transfer case
combinations i put a 4l60e in a fj 55 with the vortec v6 they have short manuals for the conversions as well as parts
