Just another gimmick aimed at ricers and newbies. Save your $ for a good tune up.

Its the same damn thing as the Tornado that has been out for years, and oddly enough, it never claimed a huge power increase...just better fuel milage.

You get better gas mileage because once you install it you drive really slow and careful hoping to get better mileage, and you do. It's all placebo/mental. I'm sure the owner of the company has one on his Ferrari, that he bought with all the money from the suckers he reels in everyday.

Dunno, the theory behind the Tornado is sound. Creating a vortex of air entering the combustion chambers would possitively effect fuel/air mixing and atomization. Well, IMO anyway.

Popular mechanics LINK tested them and Dyno'd all those gimmicks. THey all reduced horsepower and reduced MPG because they all restrict air flow to the intake manifold.
THey even tested the magnets. It's called Bull Hooey! You can get 'em on ebay for 15.00, people buy them. Total snake oil crap! You cna make one with a rivet gun and a pop can, and 45 minutes and install it yourself, then watch your MPGs go down fir a lot le ss money and you get a pop rivet gun to boot.

Here is a quote about similar items:
Both devices reduced peak horsepower by more than 10 percent. The Intake Twister increased fuel consumption by about 20 percent; the TornadoFuelSaver provided no significant change.

funny this is brought up again
today while looking at feedback from an ebay seller of both items (turboslower and the magnets) he had negative feedback from 3 people who wasted money on both and the reply was "we refund your money if not satisfied" the people were not satisfied and still didnt get 100% refunded. save $$ and buy a tank of gas a take it easy on the pedal
