i have been noticing that my transfer case on my 1980 4x4 p/u seems to have a busted mount....it rocks to one side...and only in reverse....put it in first gear...seems fine...put it in reverse...and it moves about 2in...to the left..(sittin inside the cab)..i only found one mount for the t-case....and it was fine...is there another mount under there somewhere...also...it looks like itsw not only the t-case...but the tranny..and motor also...j/w if i could get SOME info on this...thanks in advance

theres only one mount on your crossmember. How are the motor mounts? Also the tranny mount may just be worn even if it looks good it could be sloppy. you can tighten the bolt to try and tighten it up. try that and see what happens. To do so i believe you have to take the crossmember out. Support the transmission with stands and unbolt the mount from the crossmember and drop the crossmember. theres a big bolt on the mount you can tighten. hope this helps some
