throwout bearing clips falling off
I'm putting a 83' trans in my 80'. I have a new slave cylinder coming in the next day or two. I was trying to install the trans today but I'm afraid that the clips are gonna slip off the throw out bearing without me knowing. (they aren't exactly a snap/snug fit)
So my dumb question.... If i wait for the slave cylinder, will it hold the throwout arm in place to where the clips don't wanna fall off? (there isn't any slave cylinder on it right now)
I'm thinking that that's the case. I'd hate to get everything together to figure out that the throwout bearing is flying around loose in the bellhousing.
