swap in a TRD axle on my non TRD truck?
So I've been looking around for a rear diff locker for my 1996 Tacoma and it got me thinkin, could I swap out my non TRD axle with a TRD axle for the electric locker? I really like the idea of an "on demand" locker. Any suggestions, ideas, or thoughts on this?

You're right. He does NOT have the 8" rear the TRD is.

assuming you don't have ABS (unless TRD's had ABS...), a rear should be VERY easy to find...
You can go all the way back to the super high production numbers 86-95.
but it's be like a 1 1/2 to 2" narrower... But the spring pads are the same.
