Steering Relay Rod Replacement

I received a safety recall notice for my 93 SR5 Truck stating that I need to have my Steering Relay Rod Replaced. Does anyone know where this puppy is located? I could not find in the manuals. Thanks.

I found it. It is located under the piman arm which is connected to the gear housing....I just needed to investigate a little further. Did anyone else receive this notice from Toyota?

It's the longest piece of the steering rod running between the tie rod ends (@ 32" in length).

I think Toyota USA has straightened out their dealers - when you read the long stickied thread, you'll see that most of the problems were at the begining of the campaign, and after several people complained (myself included), it got better.

YOu shouldnt have to pay for anything. YOu are also entitled to a free alignment.
