scooped hood for 04 taco?

scooped hood for 04 taco?
Is there any way to get a scooped hood for a 04 taco? Can one be custom ordered or taken from a 4runner?

4Runner hoods aren't compatible;your best bet is to graft one onto your existing hood.

I'm pretty sure the TRD Tacoma's came with the scooped hoods.

The scoops are blocked off from the factory though. So it won't do much for you other than looks.

When did they do the model change? '05?

Yes, '05. I don't think the first gen TRD Tacos came with factory scoops. the '05+ did I'm like 98% sure.

yeah, 05 was first. The reason I was wondering is I want to put a ram air in my truck as well as a few other mods over the next 8 months or so.
