Welcome to YT.

An axle kit "from marlin or wherever" will have 95% of what you need to install an SAS. As far as what else you need... that could be a very long list.

Bigger tires
New gears
Longfield Inner axles (and chromo hub gears)
Locker(s)
Armor
Etc....

Now, if you feel you don't need some of the above, your probably don't need an SAS.

A majority of the SAS kits will move the front axle forward 2" from the standard IFS placement. Reason being is that the axle will move back and up as is compresses.

You need to go to Pirate 4x4 and read up and learn before you try and do an SAS.

Check TTORA if your state has a chapter, find them, wheel and hang out....there is bound to be someone with some first hand knowledge of doing this swap.
Plus they are usually dying to wrench on someones truck for the princely sum of pizza and beer!

Welcome to Yotatech.

A SAS is but one mod among many that are needed in a progression of mods. There are tons of build up threads all over the internet concerning SAS. Search newbie!

The simple adage holds true here, that if you have to ask all these rudimentary questions about a SAS then you certainly dont need one and are not ready to tackle one.

If you WANT one, great, go for it and best of luck but do your own homework.

...I would check marlincrawler and pirate4x4. I would also recommend familiarizing yourself with the installation. I spent about a year doing research before I even picked up a tool to start. Do your homework first or it will cost you time and money.

Dana 44's and the stock Toyota solid front axles are about equal in strength from what I've read. No point in spending the extra time/money to make one fit.

All Pro Offroad has Toyota/Dana60 hybrid axles, don't know too much about them but they're extravagant to say the least. Quite pricey.

I'd say stick with the toyota axle, that's what I plan on doing when I have the money and time to get it all together.

you can use a full width 44 but you will need inch wheel spacers for the back to make both axles the same width.

New long slip front DS will be required.

To go cheap, search the term "square driveshaft"... lot's of options out there that work pretty well (generally at lower speeds)

going back to ur main question yes i need to space out the front to match the back ifs rear end is 1.5in wider than a toy front u can match this by getting wheel spacers or go with sky mfg. 2in hub spacer since u have ifs hubs already i would so with the sky kit
