sas?

I had a question aboy sas......could you use a Suzuki frunt axle for a swap? there was one at the junk yard and it looked pritty good. thank you for your time and help.

Sure, you could use it no problem.

In fact, those will even be easy to get parts for since most Suzuki owners swap their axles out for Toyota axles (something about bigger, stronger, less breakage?) so there should be a ton of suzuki parts available.

thanks.......i do plan on befing it up...but how would i be able to tell about the gear ratio in them?...would they mach toyota ratios?

You'd have to google it or find a 'zuki site to ask that. Junkyard mathmatics say that if you spin the ONE side twice and count the pinion turns and then divide will give you a ball park ratio.

again...theres a reason why 'zuki guys swap for Yota axles...

backwards? so this wouldent be a good swap? it looks stronger then my ifs.....it has brifs......not that im doughting the help i would just like to learn thank you for your time and help

the suzuki axle is a pile. If you want cheap find a dana 44 from a wagoneer or cherokee chief. they are narrower than a fulsize axle. Generally the six lug versions had the driver side input and the five lug versions had the passenger. I believe you can swap the steering knuckles though and wind up with a six lug passenger side input. Don't waste your time with the suzuki axle.

Dont waste your time and money going backwards with the Zuk front...go Toy axle

Sami guys swap OUT zuk axles for Toy axles.....

there's a chief sittin in a field by my house 6lug though lol so it'd probably be driverside drop

off topic: would the wheels off of a six lug jeep fit on my toyota? idk what the bolt pattern is on em (other than six lug)

well i had taken mesurements and langth wise the axle would fit.......
other then beeing weaker what specific areas are problematic for that axle.....they are giving me a deal that i cant resist.

Just because it's cheap doesn't mean its a deal. You're not listening to any of the other posters! You don't want that axle for a swap, you're better off staying IFS!

ok iam listening........... i saw just wanting to know ......i truly value wiser knowlage and will continue to look for a solid axle that will soot my college budjet...... "Just because it's cheap doesn't mean its a deal." ya it was to good to be true......
