My 84 Toy pickup 4x4 starts fine everytime then drives fine but whenever I come to a stop the engine won't idle and dies. Sometimes I can pop it into neutral without the clutch and go back and forth between the brake and gas and keep it going like that, not easy or safe. I've turned up the idle speed and that helped a little but no solution. I noticed today in checking vacuum connections that my fuel pump was leaking from underneath not at the line connections but from the pump itself. I know I have to replace that but does anyone know if that could be the problem? I would appreciate any help,thanks people!
