Carb rubber spacer

I recently removed my 22R carb to rebuild it, I noticed that there is a rubber spacer between the carb and the intake manifold...my question is what is that part called and does the gaskets that go between the boot and the carb and the boot and the intake manifold come with the rebuild kit. Also I bought a carb mounting gasket but it doesn't look like it fits anywhere on the carb.

the gaskets will come with it, but not that spacer. And if you got that carb mounting gasket from somewhere like autozone, it's not for the carb at all, it's for the "fuel heater" under in intake manifold.

So the two middle gaskets in this picture are the ones that go between the rubber boot and the intake manifold and the rubber boot and the carb??

IIRC no, those two wouldn't be used, I think they might be for a 20r. The upper and lower ones. I can't remember which one is the top gasket or the bottom gasket off hand. It's been awhile since I had the aisin on mine.

Carb phenolic insulator

I am trying to locate the correct gaskets for the phenolic insulator, I need to know if the gaskets between the phenolic insulator and the intake manifold and the actual carb and the phenolic insulator are in fact in the carb rebuild kit, here is a picture of the kit I purchased, please someone tell me if the gaskets I need for the phenolic insulator are the kit I purchased, if not where can I find these gaskets at??

Looking at the picture, the second and third rectangular gaskets from the top with the circular plenum holes are the gaskets for the insulator.

I have a new OEM Toyota one and the gasket is glued to the spacer. If you need this part, PM me.

Like JamesD said, the new ones from the dealership come with gaskets glued on. Really, the dealership is the first place to look for most parts, unless you have another OEM parts source. Be careful of auto part stores.

Aisan Carb Electric Choke removal

I currently have two original Aisan carbs, one of my electric chokes looks like its been riveted in and the other has screws, the one I am rebuilding is rivited and I had to remove the butterfly to slide the rod out, it feels like the rod inside the choke that connects to the butterfly isnt seated in there properly anymore...did I screw the electric choke up or will it be alright???

you need to drill the rivets. The one you have that has screws has probably been taken apart before.

22r Aisin Electric Choke

The electric choke on my stock carburetor went bad and I took it off to try and replace it, and now I cannot figure out how the butterfly arm goes into the spring coil and how its supposed to be wound up, I am stuck on how to get it back the way it was, it is taking forever to start now and when it does it will only run for about 10 seconds before starving out, please help If the electric choke isnt installed properly will that affect the running of the truck in regards to my truck having trouble starting?

My electric choke stopped working too so I installed a hand choke for $10 and took all of 20min.
