Rock Crawler

I bought an 84 4runner i have big plans for it.
i want to know how i could make a rock crawler (parts time money ect..)
My 4runner is mostly stock

Cut the fenders.

Stuff some meats.

weld the diffs.

Wheel the piss out of it...

Cost about the set of a used set of 35s and a few days work.

Welded Differential

What are your guys thoughts on having or getting a Welded Diff?

Its not too bad on the road. The younger guys are the more tolerable seem to be.
I know as i keep getting older i want quieter trucks, more things streetable and so forth.

I say do it. Its a good cheap traction aid.

its cool to run on the road, just a lil barking coming from ur tires in corners.....but cheap, nice mod for better traction. tires may bald quicker, but no biggie. lol

the rear in my wife's toyota is welded, the front is a detroit locker.
