Red face

I have changed countless radiators.

Why would you think you would get coolant on the afm.You don`t think water gets in there when you drive through a puddle that is just below the doors.

The very first thing you do is drain the coolant

If it does not crank look at your battery terminals then check your grounds.

Was anything sparking or arcing any where.

even if the AFM plug is out it should still crank.

if the plug is not in correct it might not turn on the fuel pump. Maybe you bent some pins on the plug

If everything is dead, check the battery and battery terminals, if that`s good, check the wire from the battery to the fuse box, its known to break, and also check the 80 amp main fuse.

x2 on checking all your grounds,i had a heck of a time with a starter issue in my old jeep one day because the ground from the engine block to the chassis was loose/corroded.

Does the motor have to be grounded i removed the one to the block when I did the intake battery swap now all that's grounded is the fender

Yes, you want a SOLID (read - heavy duty, not solid wire) ground between the engine and chassis.

If you removed the engine ground, then you have mostly isolated the engine from the chassis and battery.
