Rear Pinion Nut...!!!
After finally resolving my carb problems I decided to drive the yoto to my new property...I heard a loud knocking noise coming from the rear....I was saying to myself...The rear is going......Well the guy I bought it from never tightend the Pinion Nut and thats were I'm sure the noise it......Does anyone have the torque specs on the pinion nut.....

You tighten it to get a certain drag.
Tighten to 145 ft-lbs, then check the preload, should be 7.8 - 11.3 in-lb (YES - inch pounds) for 4 cyl and 4.3-6.9 for V6. If it's too high, you need to replace the bearing spacer, if it's too low, you need to tighten by 9 ft-lbs at a time until the preload is reached. Maximum torque is 253 ft-lbs. If you reach the max torque, replace the spacer. Do not back off the pinion nut to lower the preload.
