weld the rear, some sort of locker in the front, a detroit if it's affordable. i welded both ends on mine, it works great, but steering in four wheel is a bitch. i just leave the drivers side unlocked until needed, jump out lock it and rock it. but it's going to lead to alot of other broken parts. hub studs, lockout gears, steering knuckle studs etc.etc. these are all the up grades i've had to make AFTER welding my front. never had any problems in the rear. other than doing donuts on wet pavement at 40 mph.

Sorry for the stupidty. What I should have asked is what kind of locker do ya'll use and the pros and cons of welding the gear, because we do drive it on the road and we like to turn. and yes I know I could have used google, but I thought ya'll might have some pertty good suggestions.

ok, i'm lincoln locked, front and rear. all my buddies are welded in the rear. one is running a detroit in the front. the pavement is not a problem. wet pavement is kinda scary sometimes. that's the cheapest and easiest way to get locked

I run F/R aussies, great off road but on the road the front likes to go where it wants..

No one has mentioned them yet but I run front and rear TRD elockers. I control them with an FZJ80 switch and elocker ECU. It's not the cheapest or easiest solution but I wouldn't have it any other way!
