Oil questions
Ok before everyone blast me like they usually do on questions like these, give me a chance.
I have a 88 22re 4x4 and I want to change oil in my tranny, T-case, and diffs. I have searched forums for hours and cant find anything on the 22re, its all V6 info. I do not have a manual with my truck and I need help.
Correct me if I am wrong but I think I am going to
A.) Put MT-90 in my transmission (how many quarts??)
B.) 75W90 in my transfer case (how many quarts??)
C.) 75W90 in my diffs (how many quarts??)

Manual transmission oil: 75W-90
Transfer oil: 75W-90
Differentials: 90 in warmer climes, 80W-90 in cooler climes
Someone also brought up a good point: Use same oil in MT and transfer case, in case there's a leak between the two.
PO probably did not drive in 4WD enough that it seems like my front diffferential seals are a little dry. Now shopping for straight 90W; thicker so less likely to leak.
