My Toyo ATs were fine in the snow, but my X-Ices were definitely a lot better. For $350, I would just go with the winters.

tire size question

I'm planning on replacing the tires and rims on my 94 4wd pickup truck. right now it's got 235/75R15 wheels and tires. the current wheels are pretty rusty and ugly and i found some 16x8 wheels on tirerack.com that are cheap and lightweight. they're the ultra 164:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...ll&sort=Weight

I'm also planning on a 3.4L swap with the supercharger eventually, and i know you need about a 1" or 2" body lift. So, my question is, what are the biggest tires I can put on it that will fit and won't need additional suspension work after the body lift? I don't want monster truck tires, just a bigger than the stock tires. right now i have rough country nitro 8000 shocks on it. Also, any other suggestions are welcome.

If it helps, my goal with the truck is for a mostly off-road truck, but not some super hardcore vehicle that sucks to take on the highway. my wife still needs to take it to work every day. it's mostly for us to take camping and stuff.

Tire size question

Need new tires soon, 97 limited runner, have a 3" toytec lift on front with l/c coils in the rear, a 2" body lift on the way, stock control arms, and 1" wheel spacers. What is the max tire size I can fit w/o rubbing?

Also, had a set of bfg a/t's and they didn't work too well for me. Tread was not aggressive enough for my area (Colorado dry rocks) and they didn't last long enough. Any suggestions on tires that will last longer that also have a more spaced out tread pattern? Thanks everyone.

One more thing, I have no idea how the wheel sizes work, what size are the stock rims? I was thinking that I need to get rid of the spacers, what's the size I need? Thanks again

3" suspension lift and a 2" body lift you'll be probably able to run 285/75/R16 (33x11.50x16) tires no problem.

Is that all? I was hoping 295's at least with the spacers and bl. How much trimming would be necessary, and is it mostly the front fender or both?

Hi, I have a 97 Limited runner with 3" toytec coilovers in front, fj80 coils in the rear, a 2" body lift on the way, and 1" wheel spacers. Stock control arms. What is the largest size tire I can run with little to no rub?

Also can someone recommend a longer lasting, more aggressive tire than bfg a/t's? I need a much better tire for wheeling, and noise is not an issue.

BFG All Terrain T/A KO
33x12.5R15 require a minimum of 8.5" wide rims.
Recommended rim width: 8.5 - 11.

Same thing for the 35x12.5R15.
