Well I ended up getting BF Goodrich KM2's 33x10.5. Here is some pics. I'm happy I got the 33's instead of the 31's. I just replaced the worn out coils last week. Much better.

 

So this is stock height or is it lifted with those new coils???

 

No Lift (sagging in the rear a little even) Sumitomo All Terrains LT265/75r16 10 plys on 16x8 American Racing AR23 with ~4.5" BS. No Rub

 

It's stock height. The coils just took it back to factory height in the back.

 

Perfect....any significant rubbing on the tires?

 

Okay guys I've just looked around for about an hour without finding what I need, so don't bruff at me for asking:
Got an '87 x-cab with 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift. Currently running 31x10.50x15's on the stock chrome rims. I know body rub won't be an issue, but the rubber on the front is ALMOST touching the upper control arm, and I mean really close. So I want to go with 33's or 35's (probably 33's because I don't want to regear right now). So I want 33x12.50x15's on an aftermarket rim. What backspacing should I get? Also, someone's got a set of 15x12rims which, would I be right in guessing are TOO wide for 33x12.50's? The backspacing on those is 4.

Just wanted to share some pics of my (recently sold) stock height '94 4runner which I fit 33x12.50x15's onto with stock rims. Only had the most minor rubbing on the plastic inner fender well and only on the drivers side. Trimmed that very slightly and ziptied it in place and problem solved. I had already removed the front valance for a better approach angle. Also that was on the stock rims (15x7?) and I ran them with no problem for a good 15K miles.

I fit 35x12.5s on my 86. It was fine, provided you didn't need tor turn, or go over a bump :p

I have been searching for days now and my brain feels like it's going to explode with all the stuff I've read. I need bigger tires and I can't seem to find hard evidence on if the tire I want to run will rub or not. I'm looking at 305/70/16's (Cooper STT) and with my set up I was wondering if anyone out there knows if I'll rub with these? I keep telling the wife that I have to buy them because the tread on the stock tires is dangerously low, but the truth is I'm tired of looking ridiculous with the lift and no meat to support it!

No idea, but probably under full compression.

However, a 285/75 16 is the EXACT same height, but about 3/4" narrower, which will fit a lot better and rub less.

A 255/85 is about a half inch bigger in height and will rub even less as it is much narrower.

 

i have the torsion bars cranked up and shackle extenders in the rear and even when flexing i dont have have any clearance problems with my 33x12.50's.from what i have found it all depends how much offset ur wheel have. the more offset the more clearance problems ur going to encounter.

 

Well, thanks for the info. I went ahead and went with 285's instead. Better gad mileage, lower price, blah, blah, blah. I went with the Duratracs. They look pretty good and should work great for what I need em for.

 

Hi all- I know the lug patterns for these two trucks are the same, but what about the center bore/ offset/ anything else? The specs for the '05 Tacoma 4x4 wheels are: Bolt Pattern: 6x139.7mm (5.5"). Center Bore: 106.1mm (4 1/8").

Will these fit on my '90 22RE 4x4 Pickup?

if htey have stock tires/tire size, and your truck is stock, then it should fit fine. if it has wider tires (like a 285/75/16 which is a very common size for those guys to upgrade to) then there's a good chance the tire will rub your upper control arm. If you have BJ spacers, it WILL rub your upper control arm. The offset isn't right, though it's not off by much.

 

What size tire can I fit with a 92 pickup with a a 2 inch toytech suspension lift and a 3 inch daystar bodylift???
im willings to cut the fenders and get spacers as well

Heck, you could easily stuff 40's under there if you are willing to cut a lot. Once you are willing to cut, you can fit whatever you want under there.

 

yea cut out the fender wells and cut a nice clean line on the fenders and run 37's with 1" wheel spacers, regear to 5.29's and have a blast...
