NO brakes

Ok Yotas yal were so much help with the electrical, lets see how you do with brake issues. After confirming the motor would run, I started on brakes BEFORE trying to drive it. The previous owner failed to tell me that he had removed a front caliper from the truck. I found this out while unloading it from the trailer. I installed a new one (rebuilt). I discovered the piston was frozen in the master cylinder. I removed the one from my 84 donor and was able to get the brakes bled but still not stopping power. I installed and new master cylinder (rebuilt). Now I can't get the brakes bled(never builds pressure). Can I expect a Looong bleed time or does it sound like something else is going on? When I bleed the brakes I don't even get spitting just barley drops. Thanks in advance. Oh, 87 Toyota 4x4

No fluid leaks in the system that pressure does not build??

air leak in the lines at the New Master Cylinder

If your bleeder valves worked fine before .

The new Master Cylinder seems to be not building pressure

Does the pedal get firm at all after pumping it a few times.

I have had a number of part store master cylinders to fail right out of the box. I would suggest getting an Aisin replacement online. You can get them for about the same price as a part store replacement. Sounds like the truck has been sitting a long time. Be prepared to just replace the hydraulic components with new stuff if it were me. I also like to take an air hose and blow all the lines out while doing brakes on a truck that has been sitting a long time.

I have since replaced wheel cylinders on both rear. The brake shoes are new
Replaced the rebuilt master with a new
Have to press pedal three times for brakes with engine running
I used the jar method for bleeding
I have no leaks.
Clean fluid at all four wheels.
No idea what to do.

Either you don`t have all the air out!!

Sometimes those rear brakes can take some time to get all the air out

Your rubber hoses are ballooning

Sometimes a poor connection will suck air and not leak fluid

Bad bleeders can allow air in.

Someplace either your drawing air in or still have air in the system.

The fact your pedal does get hard at least this Master Cylinder is working.

i would start by bleeding the master first, you can put a bunch of rags underneath it, and crack open/close the brake line junction at the master cylinder, until you are sure that the master is bled.

then start at the rear passenger corner, and drip-bleed until you are sure there isn't any air, cross over to the drivers side, do the same thing, etc.

It is always best to bench bleed the MC before installing it. Sounds like you have a lot of air in the system.
