Newbie from SC
Hey Everybody. I have been lurking around here for a while now and wanted to start by saying I have browsed many forums looking for info but YT is the first 'online community' that I have ever felt compelled to be apart of.
I have a '96 4runner SR5 that is completely stock at the moment (unless you count removing the running boards a mod). It has been my wife's DD until recently. Now that it has retired from DD status it is mine to do with as I please.
Thanks to YT I have a long list of wants but they will come slowly. Plans for the near future are some 265/75 AT or MTs, some sliders, and to start wheeling! Long term wants are: more armor, Tundra TRD/LC lift, 285s, locker, etc.

Welcome. I'm in Charleston, SC. Maybe we can meet up some time to do some wrenching. My current plans are to install an OME option 2 lift kit next month followed by a timing belt replacement around Christmas. I've never done either but I do have a lift and some buddies to help with the springs and shocks. The timing belt replacement will more than likely be a blood bath as I have no clue what I'm doing...
I love my 4runner. I just wish I'd stop breaking stuff when I'm using it. Seems like everytime I come out of the woods (usually in there hunting or scouting) something else needs fixing. But that's the awesome thing about YT. I can almost always do a search to find out how someone else has fixed the same thing.

Thanks for the welcome's, guys. Yeah I know there is a lot of knowledge here -- I've been lurking for a while trying to soak it all up. I think I've learned all I can from reading and need to start doing. And I think I am about to start learning about the bank account thing.
Hope to see you Carolina guys on the trails soon.
