Newb question about leaf springs
I have an 86 Toyota pickup, standard bed, 4spd manual 22R with 165k on the clock.
I've picked it to convert to electric. Much like this one:

I'm going to be adding roughly 12-1300lbs of batteries where the bed used to be behind the cab and under where a shorter bed will be placed.
I know I will have to beef up the leafs with either an add a leaf, or something else. (the guy above simply replaced all his leafs, I'd like to avoid that if I could...)
What is the simplest option ?
Thanks

Thanks, do you know what the capacity of the truck is stock ?
the rear AGWR is 2,500lbs so I'm assuming it will handle 1200lbs ok, but of course I have to stiffen it up a bit, would the EZ-550 or EZ-1000 be a good start ?
