New to yotatech, have a question.
Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums but people seem to be pretty helpful on here. I just bought an 85' 4runner last week and I already love it.

One thing I don't like though is the wheels. I want to buy these in 15x8's http://www.blackrockwheels.com/produ...tLockSeries952
I've heard the backspacing is an issue on the 85's. Do you think I would have issues with these wheels? Thanks

Another northern california. Grass valley is a gorgeous place, definitely love the amount of trees. In other words, Welcome to YT!
Those wheels will fit your truck, make sure you buy them in a 15x8 with 3.75 back spacing, and you'll be good to go. I have those same rims on my 92 4Runner but without the street locks. My only complaint about them is that the powdercoating fades quickly. you'll be painting them within a year or two

sweet 4runner, thats my dream toyota right there. i hope they make those wheels in a 6 lug. as far as backspacing, im pretty sure stock is 4.75" the smaller the number, the farther the tires stick out. if you plan to run wider tires, id get like 3.75" to 4" backspacing

Hey man, noticed your missing a bumper end. Before you go junkyarding check out this link.

I picked some of these up for a buddy with an '85 and they were a perfect fit for under $4.
