New to forums/ headers to stock exhaust?
First off I would like to say hello to everyone in the forums! I am currently in the middle of a head gasket job, (waiting for my HGS950 kit and bolts from engnbldr) I bought my truck for cheap with the bad gasket(s)
Now from what i have read on this forum, getting rid of the crossover and installing headers are the best mod you can do for this engine, i'm not real familiar with all this and it may sound kind of stupid but if I buy headers can I get pipes and fittings to hook up to the stock exhaust?

i'm going to assume you are talking about the 3vze since you mention the dreaded crossover pipe.
i've found headers form doug thorley, LC Engineering and NWOR (If I remember correctly) all to eliminate the crossover pipe......each one is quite pricey....greater than $500.
i did see a write-up on here where someone fabbed up their own deal using stock manifolds.
