need advice on setting up my lift
Hi All,
After much reading I've started ordering what I need for my lift, with only the front shocks and steering damper left to go.
I'm picking up some 3" coils for the rear with 100 series cruiser shocks (still tempted to get different shocks for the rear tho).
I've ordered 1.5" ball joint spacers for the front with diff drop and sway bar drop brackets.
I plan to crank the torsion bars to get it up to about 2.5" lift in the front.
1. Will 2" lift shockers be enough for the front? Is OME that much better than the cheaper brands? Do I need to extend my bump stops?
2. Is the tough dog RTC steering damper with the spring worth it, or could I just stick to a OME or cheaper brand steering damper?
I'm going to fit 33"s (I know I will need to get the grinder out) and I don't do a lot of on road driving, and I don't mind having a proper crack off road, but no comp truck sort of stuff.
Thanks Guys
