Multiple problems or One big one?

1990 Yota 22re 4x4. At start up, the idle is around 12-1500 rpm and smooth. As the truck warms, the idle drops. At operating temp the idle falls below 500 and acts like it wants to stall. The shifters vibrate like crazy the idle is so low.

Thats one problem

While driving it feels like there is a very small miss, complete tune up with in the last two months, and it was doing this before hand. Sometimes its more noticiable then others, but its there.

It acts as though its loading up with fuel...there is a raw fuel odor coming from the truck from the exhaust.

Could this be one large problem, or several small problems? I've searched, but nothing with all 3 of my problems together. I can probably be alot more descriptive if i need too but right now the pain meds are starting to kick in.

How old is the cat? I could be clogged, or even a vacuum leak causing the low idle.

Where in E. Tenn are you? I live in north K-town.

Likely the fuel and rough running issue is that the fuel pressure regulator is not getting proper vacuum at idle. There is a vacuum line feeding a VSV that feeds that to the FPR. Check it 9or bypass it:

W/o the vacuum like, you get full fuel pressure at low engine load and that causes too much fuel to be injected and it runs rich and loads up until you hit about 2000-2500 RPM.

That seems like it would cause the idle problems as well. If the Cat is stopped up, along with the fuel pressure would that result in a loss of power? Its a 4 banger, so as you all know there isn't much power to loose.

Try unplugging your TPS and see if itr runs better. Most my issues that sound like that either were the TPS or the MAF(AFM w/e)
