Welcome.

Try using the search feature, or just browse the 86-95 Truck/4Runners section. This topid is covered about every 5th thread.

The 3VZ is a dog, there isn't really too many ways to get more power. Headers and exhaust will get you a bit, but not really enough to warrant the cost.

Sell it and buy something else if you want power. you will never, even with any upgrade get anything back from it. 3.0 = 3.slow

Sorry but its the cold hard truth of the matter. I found out the hard way and now im $$$ in so i dont see turning back as an option at this point.

So true. When I got rid of my '95 with the 3.0 and got into my '98 (3.4) it felt like I was driving a Vette.

headers are the best upgrade for the money in my opinion, the stock manifold is pathetic.

Tune-up, Custom filters, headers, Exhaust, Cut off the caddy converter, New engine or tranny(Thats big though). Alot of people do 3.4 swaps. Theres not much you can do. the 3.0 is not a monster V6 but its a tough one. Not built for power, just built to last. If your real serious about it cut some weight of it(Would not recomend). If you have an automatic tranny you could swap for manual, you get a bit more hidden power out of a manual tranny but thats your deal.

DO NOT GET HEADERS AND EXHAUST.

THEY DO NOT IN ANY WAY INCREASE YOUR POWER.

Don't get me wrong, you'll see about 5hp. Think you'll notice it? Nope.

I've got everything, headers, exhaust, CAI, and have regretted buying every piece since I bolted it on.
