Locks not working? Try lubricating them

Has anyone ever had an issue with the locks wearing out on their rigs? My drivers side door and now my rear hatch lock has virtually stopped working. Any Ideas on a fix for this issue? The dealer wants 1200$ to replace all the locks. Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know of a remote entry system that will roll down the rear window, like the new toyota's

I'm guessing you're talking about power locks, right?

they are power locks, but I do not have a fab to enter remotely. It is the lock cylinder itself that seems to be freezing up.

Shoot it w/ some graphite lubricant spray. Maybe WD40 it first to clean out the debris while you break the cylinder free with the key, then let it dry, then graphite spray to lube for the future.
