Leak? Coming above Tcase

I've been trying to figure out where this leak is coming from. No wetness on top of the Tcase. It's not grease being launched from the ujoints as I recently greased them with Red grease and as you can see there are some red blotches but not the kind of "wetness" like there is around those lines. Just wondering what it could be or if someone has had the same issue. As I'm typing this I just noticed I'm missing a nut on the stud there...

is it coming off the engine or tranny and working its way back along the floor? Are your fuel lines leaking?

Maybe try cleaning up the mess that is there currently with a pressure washer and check it daily to see if that helps you locate it.

Common among 30-YO trucks.
"wetness"... so most likely seepage from around the transfer case output flange. Maybe very small drops at a time that are flung toward the body as driveshafts turn. I have similar issue and sometimes I would see a drop about to drip from one of those little screws that secure the (brake?) tubing. Looks like gear oil, consistent with transfer case oil.

There is a seal there that from my research is pretty simple and inexpensive to replace. IIRC, Grego's write-up on replacing the seal here.

Has this just appeared in a few days or a few weeks ??

Just which of all the fluids are low. ??

How big a puddle is under the truck when parked for a few minutes to the point your friends tell you don`t park in the driveway .

All mine look like that from the breathers pushing out a drop here and there spilled oil etc after all that time

Nothingbetter, I'm not sure how to tell if its a fuel leak or not. I'll get the power washer in there this week and report back soon. Haven't had access to one in a while so that should help narrow it down. Interesting RAD, thanks for the link. I did replace my Tranny+Tcase recently so that may be why they're not "wet" like in that thread you linked. I can see their ujoints on the rear shaft is pretty full of gunk. Wyoming9, the leak was there when I bought the 4runner. No puddle forms underneath the truck (Anymore). I recently did my valve cover gasket, front main, rear main, and replaced my power steering pump because I was leaking oil and ATF.

I see. Sounds like it's just residue from old leaking transfer case.
