installed 4:56 factory diff in third member "problems please help"

I just installed 4:56 factory diff into 1st gen 8' third. Some of the nuts would only tighten so much and then would start spinning and when I spin the driveshaft yoke sometimes the wheel doesn't spin. no gear oil in it yet will that make a difference. I don't want to move on to the front till the rear is right. Thanks.

It sounds like some of the studs are stripped and need to be replaced. Are you sure the gears in the new third member are good ?.

What nuts? The diff to housing nuts?

Sometimes the wheel don't spin? Do you me one, or both?
