i would drive it on paved roads just to chase pedestrians. then, before the cops could catch me, i would bust through a random fence and tear off through the field, and head up the mountain, never to be seen again.

well did the truck have a plate on it when u got it.. or do you know the person that owned it before you.. just go to your poo dunk dmv in a small town and sweet talk them into helping you out.. works 90% of thet time..

or you could title it as a off high vehicle

check with your state dmv, they all run a little different.

ya a fe years back i bought a 1982 pickup deluxe it was paint urban camo.. but low and behold the oringal owners manual and a oringal copy of the first vehicle registration.. i was pretty stoked..

i would assume yould be able to find it along the frame rail some where.. well cars these days got vin # on about every piece on the car...

by a second parts trucks

a rivet gun and make you a new truck...

then go title it and scrapp the parts truck...

theres a write up on here for a cab swap, not sure if an 87 cab will "fit" on an 81-83 frame though.

The factory service manual for my '82 says one is on your right front apron in the engine area. If that has been removed then I believe there is a vin number on the frame. I cant remember where it is but if you google toyota vin number locations it will probably come up.

If memory serves me as well, the VIN should also be located on the left side inner rim of the windshield. That one is pretty hard to remove unless you take the windshield out
