So im kind of stuck on what to do with my front tires rubbing against the pinch weld every time i turn. Here are my options. 1 to 2 inch body lift and hope it raises it high enough to stop the rubbbing. Crank the tbars untill it stops rubbing. or pound down the pinch weld which i really dont want to ruin the truck by doin this its more of a last resort type of thing. What direction should i go in?

 

beating the pinch weld isn't ruining the truck, the pinch weld is ruining your tires, you have it backwards man

exactly! beat the pinch weld!!! lol! or just do what i would have done and break out the angle grinder!!!

 

The first problem I see is using BJ spacers and larger tires together. BJ spacers will lift the truck but they don't keep the suspension from compressing the same as it would without the spacers. I.e.: if a certain size tire would rub without spacers, they can and likely will rub with spacers.

Pounding the pinch weld is an irreversable action taken to fix a reversible problem. If you take care and do it right, it is also the cheapest solution to the rubbing problem... provided it gives you enough clearance... and is suggested as a solution for ~31" tires on vehicles not originally equipped from the dealer with 31's. Given you have 33's, I don't think it would be enough unless you can pound over an inch out of the welds.

Were it my truck, I'd body lift it.

 

im with abe body lift is the way to go first and see if that helps or go with some 33 10.5s instead of 12.5s
