i have an 86 model with 22r and 5speed.. i put a weber carb, header, and cam in the truck.. putting 10in lift and 38s.. i decided to go with a 5.29 gear.. will the 5.29s be enought gear to tote the 38s pretty good?

yeah.. pretty much.. was gonna put 39.5s..

 

I just want to say I have 529's and 35's and 65mph is just under 3000 rpm. I don't like it cause I HAVE TO drive freeway to get to work.

THEY SHOULD BE GOOD

I RUN 5.38'S WITH MY 42'S AND A 4.3, WHICH WILL HAVE MORE TORQUE THAN THE 22R BUT I THINK YOU WILL BE GOOD CAUSE YOU REV OUT MORE TOO.

i LOVE MY 5.38'S AND 42'S! IN HIGH RANGE IT FEELS LIKE A STOCK RATIO!
