>.< Lol it seems you already got the problem solved, otherwise I woulda told ya to be careful around that bolted hose. It's made of metal but not real strong stuff. I broke mine by accident (I went the dropping the tank way, pain in the ass) and when I was trying to get that off, I thought I was turning the nut to unscrew it, but was actually twisting the hose. >.< I couldn't see .

what was the original problem that made you think the fuel pump was going bad ?. Did you replace the fuel filter ?, if not then it would probably be a good idea.

How did you get the hose off?

Im working on the same thing, currently dropping the tank (all bolts off finally) last connection is the hose pictured in this thread. How did it come off, now Im hitting myself in the head and looking into removing the bed. This has been a real pain, with many bruised knuckles!

I think I may have broke it, both sides spin now but it only turns a quarter turn then stops.

Thanks for the help, hard to work when you cant see. Cant believe I did not think of removing the bed! Thanks for the tip!

Get your self a set of good quality line wrenches, and that connection will unbolt without destroying your knuckles.
