Headlight Switch Issues

94 Toyota Pickup Head lights flicker, have no brights. Seems like a common issue. Does anybody have any way to bypass the switch. Or have any ideas how to make it work better. Before I buy a new switch. Any help Is appreciated. Thanks

mine did the same thing. I was able to remove the switch and spring the contacts back tighter. also take a bit of scotch brite to clean them up. I had to remove the steering wheel however. Make sure wheels are straight when you pull it.
