hard to crank by hand
I need to know if the clutch plate not being torqued all the way will cause the engine to not crank as easy by hand after install?!?!?!

guess not...
rebuilt 22R
-no "lazer" plate
-square intake & round exhaust
-98 link single row timing
-iron rockers
-reused timing cover W/fresh gaskets
-new timing set w/steel guides ENGNBLDR
-original carb manifold w/rebuilt carb
won't crank by hand & wondering how to get oil to the oil pump & bearings before dry starting

I would think that when it was rebuilt, there would have been liberal amounts of assembly lube put on all friction-creating components. Especially in the oil pump to make it self prime immediately upon first rotation. But that's just me thinking out loud..
