let me get this straight, you think something in your clutch is messed up which led to your front/rear differential/transfercase and/or transmission gear oil to be low?

My thinking on this is low gear oil leads to harsh sounds which is not repairable by adding gear oil. That's like adding more gun powder to an already blow up grenade. It's pointless as there is no grenade left.

but you can learn how to check all of your fluids by clicking on this link

so that harsh sound is more like a grinding gear sound than a clunking gear sound. Kind of like if you didn't have the clutch in all the way while trying to shift gears unlike when you blow up a differential and it makes this horrible clunking sound. I think I got it now.
