Today the tacometer, speedometer and temperature gauge all stopped working and the odometer just blinked on and off. The 4Runner (03) still runs great - everything else works just fine. Any ideas what the cause might be?

 

" odometer blinks on and off" - is it just lights for all guages that dont work or do none of your needles work?

Do you running lights work, tail lights?

Have you done any wiring lately like trailer hitch lights etc? I re wired my trailer lights and one day my dash lights all died but all my guages worked. Turns out somehow I blew the fuze for my running lights and toyota has your dash lights go out at the same time so you know to go get it checked out so you arent driving around at night with no tail lights.

The lights all work fine. The gauges all stand at zero. Just the odometer blinks but only in trip mode - you can't see total mileage. I will check fuses. THANKS

 

Its not a fuse - any other ideas?
